Properties exempt from this scheme
- Properties that already have a mandatory HMO licence do not need an additional HMO licence.
- Private registered providers of social housing are exempt from HMO licensing requirements.
Discounts the council offers
- Accredited landlords pay £990 instead of the £1,170 standard fee.
- A £50 reduction is applied to the second-stage fee for each additional HMO property.
